The Men’s Ministry Department of First Assembly of God renewed it’s vision in 2011 to re-unify and minister to the men of the church. Men’s Ministries is not about having a club (people with common interests or goals); it’s about integrating men into church. It’s about camaraderie, affirmation, personal development and spiritual growth. That’s what we are focusing on now and in the future – getting men into church. Using the ‘Reach, Teach and Release’ strategy, our focus is to teach our men to connect, coach, disciple, lead, and serve.
We have activities such as bowling, Travelers and Razorback baseball/football games, Date Nights with our spouses/girlfriends, etc. We support our church with prayer, as well as helpful necessary work activities and live the example of Christ in our community by actively helping other ministries in our church to achieve their goals.
We strive to insure growth by inviting uninvolved men in our church and community to our functions and activities, to promote the growth of the church by prayer and participation in the Christian Projects in our community, and help the men to apply themselves to be all that Christ expects us to be. Men of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in this ministry.
